SpinStream Acceptable Use & Upload Policy

This policy explains what is and is not allowed when using SpinStream. SpinStream is designed for creators who want to create proof records, digital artifacts, registry entries, or verification materials around creative works.

1. General Rule

You may use SpinStream only for lawful, truthful, authorized, and non-abusive purposes. You may not use SpinStream to create false proof records, claim rights you do not have, impersonate others, upload stolen material, or mislead others about authorship, ownership, timing, permissions, or rights.

2. Prohibited Content and Conduct

You may not upload, submit, generate, publish, or use SpinStream for infringing material, stolen creative works, unauthorized samples, covers, remixes, remakes, or licensed materials, false ownership claims, backdated or misleading proof claims, impersonation, fraudulent records, malware, spam, harassment, doxxing, non-consensual private or intimate content, sexual exploitation or abuse material, illegal content, privacy or publicity violations, evasion of law enforcement or rights holders, or attempts to overload, scrape, attack, disrupt, or reverse engineer SpinStream.

3. False Proof Records

Because SpinStream is a proof-record system, false proof activity is strictly prohibited. You may not claim you created work you did not create, claim ownership you do not have, misrepresent collaborators or contributors, misrepresent dates, versions, files, or rights, create records for another person’s work without permission, create confusingly similar records to interfere with another creator, or use SpinStream as part of a rights dispute in bad faith.

4. Rights and Permissions

You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights, licenses, permissions, or authority needed for all materials you submit. If your work includes samples, covers, remixes, remakes, collaborators, licensed beats, loops, stems, or third-party artwork, you must make sure you have the appropriate rights or permissions.

5. Enforcement

SpinStream may reject uploads, refuse records, disable public display, remove or restrict content, suspend access, preserve internal evidence, block users, report unlawful activity where appropriate, or cooperate with lawful requests. SpinStream is not required to host, publish, preserve, or display any content that creates legal, operational, security, rights, or policy concerns.

6. No Sole Backup

Do not use SpinStream as your only file backup. Keep your own copies of all creative files, sessions, receipts, licenses, permissions, and project records.
